Chifundo Martin Tenthani, Vice President of Youth Empowerment and Athletics has been in sports administration for over 15 years having served as Sports Administrator for the Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences (MUBAS) for 12 years. Apart from that Chifundo has served in many other portfolios, some of which are; General Secretary for University of Malawi Staff Sports Association, Vice General Secretary of the Blantyre and Districts Darts League, Member of the Malawi National Council of Sports Strategic Plan Team, Chairperson of the Volunteers Subcommittee of the Region V Youth Games where he led to successful completion of the games from the 600 volunteers that were recruited. Apart from these positions Chifundo has volunteered in many sport related organisations including working as an international volunteer during the 2018 Region V Youth Games in Botswana.

Chifundo holds an Advanced Certificate in Sports Business Management from University of Pretoria and Malawi National Council of Sports and a Diploma in Sports Management from the International Olympic Committee through the Malawi Olympic Committee.

Chifundo brings to the PWF vast experience in working with both the youth and older persons based on positions held in previous sports engagements.
